Jobs on Phone
In the dedicated mobile shell (/m), staff can open the customer repair queue, tap a job, and update workflow status — same statuses as desktop Jobsheet.
Open Jobs
- On your phone, open the mobile shell at /m (for example
yourshop.expedite.business/m). - Tap Jobs on the bottom bar (or open
/m/jobs).
The list shows customer-owned repairs for your current branch. Shop inventory and donor jobs stay on classic Jobsheet.
Find a job
- Search — asset id, customer name or phone, brand/model, issue, IMEI, or serial.
- Status chips — default is Active (open jobs). Tap All or a status label (New Intake, Booking, In Repair, Waiting Parts, On Hold, Ready Pickup, Complete, Refund, Cancelled).
- Refresh — use the refresh button if the list looks stale.
Empty list shows No jobs found (try clearing search or filters). Load errors show Couldn't load jobs with Retry.
Open a job
Tap a card to open job detail. You will see asset id, device, customer, reported issue, days in shop, bin, technician, and quoted price when set — plus the current workflow badge.
Update status
- Under Quick status, tap a chip: → In Repair, → Waiting Parts, → On Hold, → Ready Pickup, or → Completed. These match the desktop repair quick transitions.
- Or use Set status and pick any workflow status from the full list (same options as Jobsheet filters).
Status history is logged. If the update fails, you get a toast like Status update failed and the UI rolls back so you can try again.
Need the full record?
Job detail links to the classic Jobsheet device page for full desktop detail (intake edits, money, parts, and more). New intakes still start from classic Create a jobsheet.
On More, tap Customers, Invoices, or Quotations for those phone lists, or Open desktop app for the full shop screens. See Phone navigation, Customers on phone, Invoices on phone, and Quotations on phone.
